Harvested from mature palms, these woody remnants perfectly mimic the diverse stream bed and sunken tree branches found in aquatic habitats. With intricate spaces for fish, isopods, springtails, or frogs to hide inside, these stocks offer both functionality and aesthetics. Due to their huge surface area, there will be a magnificent biofilm bloom on these botanicals once submerged, so please make sure you have ample water flow or add an airstone. You could even condition these inside of a bucket if you don't want to witness this "goo" phase firsthand. We just add them in after following our prep method (hint: click the tab at the top of the screen!) and let nature take its full course. When submerged they will unfold a little bit to create a wonderful place for fish to swim through.
