Mesoheros Festae "Red Terror" Cichlid

The Festae Red Terror is a large South American Cichlid with males reaching almost 18" and females 12". As they mature, these beautiful cichlids display many shades of red, yellow, and green with black stripes. Be sure to house them in a large aquarium that can accommodate their large size. In their aquarium, rocks and artificial plants will give them just the right amount of coverage while still providing a large swimming area. Red Terrors are very aggressive and sometimes have to be housed alone, but if you try to add some tank mates with your Terror, only do so in a large aquarium with other aggressive cichlids similar in size.
